Job summary

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is hiring a Yard Assistant / Van Driver to join our branch team. You’ll help customers in the yard, assist with loading and unloading, and support deliveries with our van fleet.

This role combines hands-on customer service with on-the-road duties to ensure timely, accurate service. In addition to assisting in the yard, you’ll drive multi-drop deliveries, maintain stock accuracy, and keep the yard tidy and safe.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail/building merchant environment.
• Clean UK driving licence (category B) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the yard, locate goods and load/unload deliveries.
• Support stock accuracy and yard organisation to keep the branch safe and efficient.
• Deliver alongside the yard role as a van driver, making multi-drop runs to customers.
