Job summary

Huws Gray Oakham is seeking a Yard Supervisor to lead a small team and keep the yard running smoothly. You’ll supervise yard operations with drivers, manage stock, assist with deliveries, and ensure accurate goods-in/goods-out documentation. We offer training and support to help you succeed, plus a friendly, inclusive environment.

Flexible working options may be discussed at interview. A Forklift licence and experience in a fast-paced setting are valuable, and the role includes company bonuses

Qualifications

• Forklift Driving Licence is a great advantage.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing yard operations with Yard Operatives and Drivers.
• Managing stock levels and reporting damaged goods to Branch Manager.
• Supporting deliveries by loading and unloading to keep things moving.
• Handling goods in and out and ensuring accurate documentation on systems.
• Working as part of a team to run a smooth, safe yard and deliver good customer service.
