Job summary

Huws Gray Limited in Dundee is seeking a Yard Supervisor to lead the yard team, oversee operations with Yard Operatives and Drivers, and ensure stock is accurately managed and deliveries go out smoothly.

You will contribute to a safe, organized yard environment and have opportunities for on-the-job training and progression within the group. A Forklift Driving Licence is advantageous, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard or similar environment
• Forklift Driving Licence is advantageous but training provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Overseeing yard operations - working closely with Yard Operatives and Drivers
• Managing stock levels - identifying faulty or damaged goods and reporting issues
• Supporting deliveries - handling loading and unloading to keep things moving
• Handling goods in and out - ensuring accurate documentation on systems
• Working as part of a team - maintaining a smooth, customer-focused branch operation
