Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Andover is seeking a Yard & Stores Operative to join a busy team. You will split time between the yard and stores, loading and unloading deliveries, moving pallets with a forklift (training provided), and assisting with stock replenishment for a busy production line.

The role offers a supportive environment, on-site training, and clear progression. Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm, with salary £26,000–£28,000 DOE, plus 31 days holiday, pension, and development

Qualifications

• Experience in yard and stores is desirable.
• Willingness to train and develop in a multi-site environment.
• Flexible to cover both yard and stores duties.

On offer is a varied role where your time will be split between the yard & stores. In the yard you will be responsible for the loading & unloading of deliveries, moving pallets using forklifts ( training & license will be provided) and general yard upkeep duties. In stores you will be involved in loading & picking of parts for a busy production line, alongside undertaking stock replenishment, waste control & general stores duties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a yard / stores-based role & be flexible in your approach to complete tasks across both yard & stores as required.

The Role:

• General stores duties, picking of parts for a busy production line, goods in


• Yard duties to include loading & unlading deliveries, moving of pallets using a forklift, general yard upkeep, assisting with waste management


• Monday - Friday 7am- 4pm

The person:

• Previous experience in a yard & stores-based role forklift experience is desired but not essential as training will be given for the right candidates


• Practical, highly motivated & able to work working to tight deadlines


• Organised with a keen eye for detail, a can-do attitude & looking for training & development
