Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, Colchester, is hiring a Yard Sales Adviser/Driver to join the site team. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, loading and unloading safely. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 7:00–16:30, with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00.

You will build relationships with customers, maintain yard standards, and support sales initiatives. Training for forklift operation is provided, and a competitive package awaits motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• Required: valid UK driving licence and readiness to drive a 3.5 tonne van.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver customer orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and safe loading/unloading.
• Acknowledge customers, assess needs, and provide quick, friendly service.
• Maintain high standards across the yard, counter, and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform loading/unloading and restocking as required.
