Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a delivery driver in Colchester. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, with a full UK driving licence required. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 7:00–16:30 and alternating Saturdays 08:00–12:00.

You’ll load/unload, support yard and shop floor operations, and build strong customer relationships. Benefits include a competitive salary, pension, life assurance, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to load/unload safely and operate forklift (training provided).
• Customer service mindset and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and安全 loading.
• Acknowledge customers and ascertain their needs to provide efficient service.
• Load/unload vehicles, restock and manage yard, counter and shop floor standards.
• Operate machinery safely and support sales and service initiatives.
• Develop knowledge of core product lines to meet customer needs.
