Job summary

Travis Perkins in the UK is seeking a Yard Assistant to support daily yard operations outside the branch. You will be based outside, processing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and unloading building products from supplier deliveries while booking them into the branch warehouse.

Forklift experience is ideal, but full training is provided. Safety is central to the role, and you will work in a dynamic, customer-facing environment that values helpful, friendly service and adherence

• Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but don't worry full training is provided
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

• This is a key customer facing role, so you will need to be enthusiastic and have great interpersonal skills.
• Be confident in your physical ability to process heavy and bulky stock throughout the Yard, within our health and safety guidelines.
