Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a Yard Sales Advisor for the Morecambe branch. You will provide friendly, efficient service, help customers with product selection, and uphold yard and shop floor standards.

Working Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm with alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00, you’ll load/unload, operate basic machinery safely, and support sales initiatives. Training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with focus on building relationships.
• Ability to upsell and promote products.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Positive attitude and pro-active learner.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess needs to provide quick, friendly service.
• Build relationships by asking open questions and understanding requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate loading equipment and assist with offloading and packing.
• Support sales initiatives to increase turnover and margins.
• Develop product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Unload and load vehicles, with forklift training provided.
