Job summary

Huws Gray Group is seeking a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver for the Bolton - Tonge Moor site. You will be involved in daily yard operations, assisting with loading, deliveries, and helping customers in the yard. The role suits a practical team player who enjoys outdoor work and flexible coverage across shifts.

Having a Class 2 licence is essential; a forklift licence is a welcome extra. Training will be provided, including HIAB certification, with a training agreement where applicable.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence (required).
• Willingness to obtain HIAB certification with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard.
• Safely receive and organise deliveries; keep yard tidy and secure.
• Assist with vehicle loading/unloading and help with deliveries.
• Make occasional local deliveries to support the team.
• Maintain stock security and comply with safety procedures.
