Job summary

ASL Recruitment Ltd supports an established engineering company in Bodiam, East Sussex, hiring a Yard Operative/Trainee Quality Control. Your duties include goods in/out, packaging finished goods, signing off work from issued drawings and creating full pallet listings for customers.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience with a valid Counterbalance licence, a full UK driving licence and own transport.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/yard operations.
• Forklift operation experience with valid Counterbalance Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow goods in/out processes and package finished goods for customers.
• Work from issued drawings and sign off work as required.
• After training, perform quality control on finished and powder coated goods.
• Carry out full pallet listings for customers and ensure project cards are up to date.
• Packaging of all completed projects and adhere to ISO9001/BSEN1090 QMS.
• Yard duties and forklift loading/unloading of lorries.
• Any other tasks as directed by Line Manager.
