Job summary

Civils & Lintels in Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Yard Operative/Driver to join our depot team. You will load and unload vehicles, pick and prepare orders, and deliver with a focus on safe, friendly service. You’ll report to the Yard Supervisor and Branch Management.

A forklift licence would be an advantage, and we provide training and opportunities to progress within the company. We value teamwork, reliability and customer service, and offer a strong leave entitlement, pension options and rewards

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Safety-conscious approach to yard work.
• Forklift licence would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers’ needs safely and professionally.
• Maintain health and safety standards on sites and in depots.
• Be the face of Civils & Lintels and provide great customer service.
• Load and unload customers’ and suppliers’ vehicles.
• Pick and prepare orders for collection and delivery.
