Job summary

Civils & Lintels in Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Yard Operative/Driver to join our depot team. You will load and unload vehicles, pick and prepare orders, and deliver with a focus on safe, friendly service. You’ll report to the Yard Supervisor and Branch Management.

A forklift licence would be an advantage, and we provide training and opportunities to progress within the company. We value teamwork, reliability and customer service, and offer a strong leave entitlement, pension options and rewards

As aYard Operative/Driver, you would be working in one of our depots as part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done. You would report to the Yard Supervisor and the Branch Management Team.

Here’s what you can expect to do as a Yard Operative with Civils & Lintels:

• Serving our customers’ needs in a safe and professional manner
• Maintaining a high standard of health and safety on sites and in depots
• Be one of the faces of Civils and Lintels and provide great customer service
• Create a close working relationship with your team
• Load and unload customers and suppliers’ vehicles
• Pick and prepare orders for collection and delivery
