Job summary

Civils & Lintels Nottingham is looking for a Yard Operative to join our depot team. You’ll help load and unload vehicles, pick and prepare orders, and provide friendly, safe service to customers. A forklift licence would be an advantage; training will be provided where needed, and you’ll report to the Yard Supervisor and Branch Management.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering excellent service at Civils & Lintels depots across the region.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver friendly, safe customer service in a depots environment.
• Understanding of health and safety rules on site and in depots.
• Ability to form close working relationships with team members.
• Experience with loading/unloading vehicles and picking orders.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a safe, professional manner.
• Maintain high health and safety standards on sites and depots.
• Be the face of Civils & Lintels and provide great service.
• Build strong working relationships with the team.
