Job summary

The Best Connection in England's West Midlands is seeking a Yard Operative based in Darlaston to help keep the yard running safely and efficiently. You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, load and organise stock, carry out manual handling, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Monday to Friday 07:00–16:30, £13.45 per hour, full-time role.

The Best Connection West Bromwich is recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for a Yard Operative based in Darlaston.

The Role

As a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in keeping the yard running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move metal materials around the site.
• Loading, unloading, and organising stock within the yard.
• Carrying out manual handling and other physical yard duties.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
