Job summary

The Best Connection West Bromwich is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Yard Operative based in Darlaston. You will play a key role in keeping the yard running safely and efficiently.

Pay is £13.45 per hour, Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:30. Responsibilities include operating a Counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading stock, manual handling, and maintaining a clean, safe yard while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Loading, unloading and organizing stock within the yard.
• Manual handling and other yard duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

The Role

As a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in keeping the yard running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move metal materials around the site.
• Loading, unloading, and organising stock within the yard.
• Carrying out manual handling and other physical yard duties.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
