Keep Our Communities Clean - Join Us as a Yard Operative Today!

A quick look at the role:
You will assist in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site, together with assistance to the general public visiting the site. Also, ensure that waste brought onto the site is segregated as much as possible for recycling, adhering to Company policies and procedures including H&S, environmental, and operational requirements.

Days of work: Mon-Fri (plus 2.5 hours Saturday)
Start and finish time: 07:00-17:00

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe, efficient, and profitable operation by providing operative services.
• Serve the needs of the site operations in respect of operative services, including picking and segregation of waste within the site and cleaning of yard areas.
• Advise and assist centre users to maximize segregation and recycling.
• Redirect commercial customers and portray the best corporate image.
• Remain aware of your responsibilities for your own H&S and for the H&S of those directly responsible to you and your work colleagues, ensuring the correct PPE is worn.
• Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures, including but not limited to, those specified in the Employee Handbook, H&S Policy, EMS System, IMS System, and any financial systems.
• Perform other reasonable duties which are part of, and incidental to, this type of work.
