Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Yard Operative in the UK. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing equipment, storing off-hired gear, and maintaining a clean, safe yard and storage areas.

You will liaise with customers daily during loading and unloading, with opportunities for training and career development in a FTSE100 company offering a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be physically fit to undertake daily yard duties.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Organised and able to complete tasks on time.
• Good customer service skills.
• Flexible and willing to undertake training and development.
• Awareness of health and safety, PPE requirements and COSHH is a plus.

About The Role

In the role of Yard Operative you'll play an key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
  


• Checking and storing off-hired equipment
  


• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
  


• Liaising with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job
