Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Yard Operative in the United Kingdom. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is clean and ready for customers to hire, and you will maintain a safe, well-organised yard and storage areas.

The role involves loading/unloading with customers, coordinating with the service centre, and following health and safety practices. This is a full-time position with company benefits and development opportunities.

About The Role

In the role of Yard Operative you’ll play an key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
• Checking and storing off-hired equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
• Liaising with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job
