Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is hiring a Yard Operative to ensure equipment is clean and ready for hire. You will help prepare gear, store off-hired items and maintain a safe, orderly yard and workshop environment.

The role requires a physical candidate with teamwork, organisation, and good customer service skills, plus a willingness to undertake relevant training and safety compliance.

The work pattern for this role will include 12 hour nights, 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am

In the role of Yard Operative you'll play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your Duties Will Include

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
• Checking and storing off-hired equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
• Liaising with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job

Working- 4 on, 4 off, 12 hour days, 6am to 6pm
