Job summary

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Yard Operative to work on site. You will be part of the Yard Operations Team, assisting with daily operations by driving and parking various vehicles around the yard.

You will report to the Yard Team Leader and Supervisor, with most activities outdoors and in all weather conditions. Main duties include storing and parking vehicles, scanning barcodes, tagging keys, logging valuables, and jump-starting vehicles when required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion to work within the motor industry and take pride in work to high standards.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Store and park all vehicles on site within the fleet yard, via agreed valet/wash services, so that vehicles enter and leave the site in accordance with the daily program.
• Barcode all new vehicles on arrival and tag keys.
• Log and remove any valuable items left in vehicles.
• Be responsible for jump starting vehicles (training provided).
• Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager.
• Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure operational requirements are met within deadlines.

Salary: GBP13.31 - GBP13.31 per hour

Due to the current growth of BCA, we are looking to recruit a Yard Operative to work on site.

Within this role, you will be working as a part of Yard Operations Team, assisting with the daily operations of a busy site through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard. You will be reporting to the Yard Team Leader and Supervisor. The yard and halls activities will be predominantly undertaken outdoors, this means that you will spend a significant proportion of their time exposed to all weather conditions throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Store and park all vehicles on sitewithin the fleet yard, via agreed valet/wash services, so that vehicles enter and leave the site in accordance with the daily program
• Barcode all new vehicleson arrival and tag keys
• Log and removeany valuable items left in vehicle
