Job summary

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller in Bridgwater, United Kingdom, is seeking a YardOperative to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the site, supporting food safety and health & safety compliance. You will operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and hoses, keep external yard areas hazard-free, and carry out daily safety walks.

The role runs 39 hours per week with a 08:00–16:00 shift. Competitive pay (£12.37/hour) with overtime, 25 days holiday, company pension, and full training

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or food production hygiene preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety and hygiene standards.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep external yard areas clean and hazard-free, including washing bays and designated zones.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pressure washers, hoses).
• Carry out litter picking and waste removal promptly.
• Complete daily safety walks and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Record cleaning activities and communicate concerns to the Shift Lead.

We are looking for a YardOperative to join our team and help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our site. This role is vital to ensuring food safety, health & safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Location: Bridgwater - TA6 6DF

Contract Type: Full time – Permanent (39 hours per week)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00

Salary: £12.37 per hour(Overtime rate 1.5 x base rate)
