Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Yard Area Manager to oversee yard operations across EU sites, coordinating with Dock, Receive and Ship teams to ensure FIFO processing and minimize CX impact risks. You will lead a team, analyse data to drive improvements, standardize processes and influence change at local and global levels, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and site leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree.
  • Experience managing people and leading teams.
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Fluent English (C1 or above).

Responsibilities

  • Improve on-time performance of trucks in and out of yards, safety and CX metrics.
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders to streamline yard flow.
  • Report yard performance to site leadership and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
  • Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs.
  • Provide weekend support to Amazon’s fulfilment network as needed.
