Job summary

Keystone Lintels is seeking an experienced Yard Team Leader to oversee daily yard operations, ensuring orders are prepared efficiently, stock is organised and safety standards are maintained. This hands-on leadership role requires clear communication and the ability to keep tasks moving in a busy environment.

You will lead the yard team, coordinate workloads, manage deliveries, and ensure accurate stock levels while promoting a safe, productive work culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction or manufacturing environment.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety.
• Forklift experience/certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the yard team day-to-day.
• Organise workloads and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, checked and prepared for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and report issues.
• Keep the yard clean, tidy and well organised.
• Monitor and maintain high health and safety standards.
• Train, support and motivate team members.
• Operate yard equipment safely and ensure procedures are followed.
• Work with production, transport and management teams.
