Pisani Ltd is seeking a reliable, hands-on and organised individual to join the team in a varied role that combines practical outdoor work with customer-facing office duties.

You will help ensure smooth day-to-day stockyard operations while supporting customers and handling general office enquiries. This role involves yard and office tasks, requiring a flexible attitude and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A valid driving licence is essential due to site location.
• Forklift/crane licences are advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, professional manner with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily yard operations.
• Load and unload trucks daily.
• Select stock using loading sheets and prepare materials.
• Unload containers of new stock.
• Barcode and book in stock when it arrives.
• Keep the stockyard tidy, organised and presentable.
• Work outdoors in all weather with PPE provided.
• Answer calls and direct enquiries in the office.
• Review and respond to sales emails.
• Welcome customers to the site and assist with material selections.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and organised individual to join our team in a varied role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of practical outdoor work and customer-facing office duties.

Working alongside our team, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the stockyard while also supporting customers and handling general office enquiries.

Yard Duties

• Working alongside our team to support daily yard operations.
• Loading and unloading trucks on a daily basis.
• Selecting the correct stock using provided loading sheets and preparing materials for loading.
• Unloading containers of new stock.
• Barcoding and booking in new stock arrivals.
• Maintaining the stockyard, ensuring it remains tidy, organised and presentable.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions. PPE will be provided.

Office Duties

• Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
• Reviewing and responding to incoming sales emails.
• Welcoming customers visiting the site to view materials.
• Showing customers around the stockyard and assisting them with their material selections.
• Providing a friendly and helpful service to customers at all times.

Qualifications

• A full, valid driving licence is essential due to the location of the site.
• A forklift truck and/or crane licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A friendly, professional manner with good communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.
