Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Yard Marshal in Aylesbury for a full-time role, Sunday to Thursday, 6.30am to 4.30pm. The position pays £14.73 per hour and includes site canteen, free hot drinks, and good public transport links.

Responsibilities include greeting drivers, checking in, coordinating movements, ensuring safety and PPE compliance, and managing yard housekeeping and pallet storage. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to a good standard.
• FLT licence is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting delivery and collection drivers on arrival.
• Collecting the daily delivery and collection schedule from the admin team each morning.
• Checking drivers in on arrival and controlling vehicle movements.
• Ensuring drivers follow site health and safety rules including PPE.
• Monitoring loading/unloading activities per site procedures.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the yard.
• Monitoring pallet and other storage control.

Great opportunity to work as a Yard Marshal for our clients team of sandwich and food-to-go experts, creating delicious and imaginative choices for sandwich lovers to explore.

Staffline is recruiting Yard Marshal in Aylesbury.

The rate of pay is £14.73 per hour.

This is a full-time role working Sunday to Thursday, and the hours of work are:

• 6.30am to 4.30pm

Your Time at Work

• Meeting and greeting delivery and collection drivers on arrival.
• Collecting the daily delivery and collection schedule from the admin team each morning.
• Checking drivers in on arrival and controlling vehicle movements using the daily booking sheet.
• Ensuring all drivers follow the site's health and safety rules, including the correct PPE requirements.
• Monitoring that all loading and unloading activities are carried out in accordance with our site procedures.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the yard.
• Monitoring/ manage pallet/ other storage and pallet control.

Full training will be provided on all site procedures and responsibilities before the individual starts carrying out the role independently.

The person must be able to speak, read, and understand English to a good standard, as they will be communicating with drivers and following site procedures.

An FLT licence is preferred, although it is not essential.
