The Best Connection in Hatfield is seeking a Yard Operative for immediate start. This full-time role involves yard tidying, vehicle cleaning via jet wash, unloading pallets, and stocking in ambient areas. A valid UK driving licence is required to move vehicles around the site.

Shifts run 5 to 6 across 7 days, typically from 9:00 to 18:00, with an hourly pay rate of £15.45 for all hours. The role is based on-site at our Hatfield location and offers ongoing, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work across 7 days including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Tidying and sweeping the yard.
• Jet washing and cleaning down vehicles on arrival.
• Unloading pallets and storing stock in ambient freezer area.
• Placing offloaded items away and keeping routes in order.

Job description

Our client based in Hatfield is looking for a Yard Operative to start with immediate effect. Would be full time work ongoing.

Yard Operative Main duties will include:

• Tidying and sweeping up yard


• Cleaning down vehicles so jet washing when vehicles come in


• Unloading pallets and putting stock away in ambient freezer area


• Once offloaded they would put them away but also lay down in route order


• Must have full UK driving licence so can move vehicles around

Yard Operative Shift :

• 5 to 6 shifts over 7 days


• Hours would be 9am to 18pm

Yard Operative Hourly Pay Rates:

• Pay Rate - £15.45 per hour for all hours
