A leading provider of structural steel and metalwork is seeking a Yard Logistics Manager to ensure efficient yard operations at their facility in Perivale, West London. The role involves coordinating stock, fleet management, and day-to-day logistical tasks while ensuring safety and organisation in the yard environment. Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience and a proactive approach to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a yard, depot, or warehouse environment.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the intake and organisation of stock across the yard.
• Ensure the yards are kept tidy and compliant with health & safety procedures.
• Act as a point of contact between yard staff and the Operations Manager.

About The Company

We are leading provider of structural steel and metawork fabricator.

With growing operations, we are now seeking a proactive and hands-on Yard Team Leader to support the efficient running of their yard operations across our factory based in perivale west london

Role Overview

This role will act as a key support between the Manager and the Yard Operative across The Yard Team Leader will ensure smooth coordination of stock, fleet, and site logistics while remaining actively hands-on in the day-to-day running of the yard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the intake and organisation of stock across yard
• Assist in receiving, checking, and documenting deliveries
• Support the coordination of the company’s fleet, including organising repairs and maintenance
• Ensure the yards are kept tidy, organised, and compliant with H&S procedures
• Act as a point of contact between yard staff and the Operations Manager
• Report any stock discrepancies or issues to management in a timely manner
  
  

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience working in a yard, depot, or warehouse environment
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Forklift experience
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proactive and hands-on approach
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across multiple sites
• Knowledge of stock handling and logistics processes
