Job summary

Site Operative Solutions Limited in Horbury is seeking a Yard Foreman to oversee daily yard operations, ensuring safety and productivity across projects. The role starts ASAP and may be ongoing, with various shift patterns.

You will manage site personnel, assign tasks, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and uphold health and safety standards. A CSCS card is required, SSSTS would be beneficial, and a Slinger banksman/forklift ticket is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Yard Foreman or similar supervisory role in construction.
• CSCS card held and knowledge of HSE regulations.
• SSSTS would be beneficial.
• Slinger banksman and forklift tickets are essential.
• Proven leadership and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

The role is due to commence on ASAP, with duration be on going

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the yard, ensuring smooth workflow and safety compliance.
• Manage site personnel, assign tasks, and monitor progress on various projects.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and site teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Happy to do duties for the following: Slinger / banksman trained / forklift.

• Previous experience as a Yard Foreman or similar supervisory role within a construction environment.
• Valid CSCS card and essential construction site management tools/toolbox.
• SSSTS would be beneficial
• Slinger banksman / forklift ticket would be essential.
• Proven leadership skills, organisational abilities, and knowledge of health & safety regulations.

Rates and shift patterns are competitive and will be discussed during the application process. The role may involve standard or potential longer-term shifts depending on project needs.
