Job summary

Stobart, part of the Culina Group, invites applications for a Yard Operative in Rugby. The role is full-time and permanent, with a standard Monday–Friday 8:00–18:00 schedule. The candidate will support yard operations, organize trailers, and work closely with the transport team to maintain a safe, efficient yard.

Qualifications

• Organised and motivated with a proactive approach.
• Good attention to detail in a busy outdoor environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• FLT licence desirable or willing to train.
• Experience in yard, warehouse, transport or logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage trailers within the yard.
• Operate Forklift Truck (FLT) to move loads between trailers.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Sort and process returned goods per procedures.
• Position trailers for planned collections and deliveries.
• Carry out routine yard checks and report defects or safety concerns.
• Complete day-to-day operational reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Operate equipment in line with safe systems of work.
