Job summary

Stobart, part of Culina Group, is seeking a Yard Operative in Rugby on a full-time basis. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00–18:00, with a salary of £30,223 per annum.

You will be responsible for cleaning Stobart vehicles at the Widnes depot, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Responsibilities include operating the vehicle wash, ensuring timely throughput, completing documentation, and stocking chemicals and consumables.

Qualifications

• Organised and motivated with a practical mindset.
• Good attention to detail and able to work in a busy outdoor environment.
• Able to carry out administrative tasks and complete operational reports.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• FLT licence desirable or willing to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Clean all Stobart vehicles to the required standard in the wash area.
• Ensure vehicles pass through the wash efficiently under supervision.
• Complete the correct documentation for each job.
• Keep the wash area clean, tidy and free from litter or grease.
• Operate wash equipment safely and monitor for faults.
• Maintain adequate chemicals and consumables on site.
