Job summary

BCA is seeking energetic Yard Drivers for its busy auction site in the UK. You will move vehicles, keep the yard organized, and help prepare cars for sale in an outdoor, hands-on role.

Ideal candidates are reliable, with a full UK driving licence, able to work in all weather, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment supporting various departments.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team player who’s ready to get stuck in.
• Able to follow instructions and work at pace.

Responsibilities

• Driving and moving a wide range of vehicles across the site.
• Keeping the yard organised and running efficiently.
• Jump starting vehicles when needed (full training provided).
• Spotting any issues and reporting them to the team.
• Supporting other departments and getting involved wherever needed – no two days are the same.

Main purpose of the role

We’re looking for energetic, reliable Yard Drivers to join our busy auction site. You’ll be at the heart of the action—moving vehicles, keeping the yard running smoothly, and playing a key role in getting cars ready for sale.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role, so you’ll need to be comfortable staying active and working in all weather conditions.
