Job summary

Jewson in Barnstaple is seeking a Yard Sales Supervisor to lead yard and branch operations, Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings. You will welcome customers, learn product lines, and ensure the team is ready for the day, coordinating deliveries and routes.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers to the branch and engage with their projects.
Learn product lines to offer helpful advice and recommendations.
Ensure the team is set up for the day, including driver route planning.
Assist with processing and preparing orders and loading/unloading vehicles; forklift training provided.
Support management and act as a keyholder when needed.
Check deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
Maintain stock levels in warehouse and yard with regular stock counts.
Keep the branch clean and uphold Health & Safety standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements and opportunities.
