Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Chipping Ongar. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 7:30–17:00, with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00, offering a dynamic, customer-focused environment where your energy and professionalism are valued.

You will greet customers, identify needs, process orders, keep the yard and shop floor tidy, operate loading activities with safety in mind, and contribute to sales and service excellence through

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ascertain their needs to provide quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform loading/unloading tasks, including forklift training.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margins and service levels.
• Continuously build knowledge of products to meet customer needs.
