Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking a Yard Assistant to support customers and branch operations. Based outside, you will process customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and accurately book in stock as it arrives.

You’ll handle building products on site, work safely to keep the yard tidy, and be ready to develop through our training and development schemes. A friendly, proactive approach and good interpersonal skills are essential.

• Customer-facing role experience.
• Able to lift heavy stock in a yard.
• Enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders at the yard.
• Load and unload customer and company vehicles.
• Unload building products from deliveries and book in stock.
• Operate/learn forklift and maintain safe yard environment.
