Job summary

Total Plumbing in Llandeilo is seeking a proactive Yard Assistant to join our team. The role is hands-on, outdoors, customer-facing, and involves loading/unloading deliveries, stock checks, and keeping the yard safe and well-organised.

The ideal candidate has yard/warehouse experience, a positive attitude, and good attention to detail. Forklift experience is desirable; training may be provided. This is a permanent, full-time position with a typical 40.75-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard/warehouse roles preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Forklift license desirable or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in the yard and assist with loading vehicles.
• Keep stock accuracy and presentation; pick and prepare orders.
• Load/unload deliveries safely; unload company and supplier vehicles.
• Maintain tidy, safe and well-organised yard surroundings.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock checks; report issues.
