King Lifting Ltd. is seeking a Yard Assistant for our Southampton (Marchwood) depot. You will maintain a clean yard, manage plant and lifting tackle, and ensure safe storage and maintenance.

A full driving licence is essential, and forklift qualification is advantageous. The role includes deliveries or collections to other depots or client sites, requiring a driving licence and safe working practices. Job description

We are currently seeking a new team member to work in our Southampton (Marchwood) depot.

This opportunity would ideally suit somebody looking to gain experience in the lifting industry and working with plant and tackle. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and will keep the yard running smoothly. There is scope for development to progress within the business and will be supported with additional training and industry recognised qualifications.

The Yard Assistant is responsible for keeping the yard clean and tidy and maintaining a safe working environment at all times. You will manage our owned plant and lifting tackle ensuring it is safely stored and maintained as required.

A full driving licence is essential as the role will include delivering or collecting from other depots or client sites. An awareness of safety procedures and qualification for fork truck licence to assist with offloading deliveries or preparing equipment for loading would also be an advantage.

In order to be considered suitable, you must have the right to live and work in the UK and live within a daily commutable distance to Marchwood.
