Job summary

Marsh in Witham is seeking an XOL Technician to support our client services in reinsurance processing. You will handle transactional processing, post and brokerage receivables, and build relationships with brokers, clients and markets as part of a hybrid team.

The role requires XOL and reinsurance experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to learning the technical account structures. You will participate in training and contribute to team improvements while working at least three

Qualifications

• Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience
• Experience within Excess of Loss (XOL)
• Proficient Excel skills and Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure
• Successful management of workload with ability to manage expectations

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned client portfolio with technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims
• Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds
• Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps
• Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets
• Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team for all aspects of reinsurance service processing
