Job summary

Marsh Re is seeking an XOL Technician to join the Client Services Support team in Witham. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and involves managing client portfolios, premiums, claims, and post-XOL processes.

Qualifications

• Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience required; handling cash loss/large loss.
• Experience within Excess of Loss (XOL).
• Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure.
• Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims.
• Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds.
• Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps.
• Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets.
• Participate in training sessions, and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
