Job summary

OEG Energy Group are seeking several WT1 Competent Technicians for roles beginning in February 2027 on the UK West Coast. These are fixed term (PAYE) contracts.

Experience on G4, V90, V164, Siemens 7MW DD (Direct Drive) or Siemens 3.6MW turbines required. Valid offshore medical and multiple GWO certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid GWO BST, GWO BTT, offshore medical (OGUK/ENG1) and fitness assessments.
• Valid GWO Enhanced First Aid, GWO Slinger Signaler and GWO Crane & Hoist Basic User.
• WTSR Core and other offshore certifications as listed may be required.
• Additional certifications such as Skyman Lift User, Avanti SWP XLL, Avanti Shark or Avanti Dolphin are desirable.

Minimum Certification requirements:

• Valid GWO BST (Working at Height, Sea Survival, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling) and GWO BTT (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic).
• Current offshore medical (e.g., OGUK/ENG1) and fitness assessments (e.g., Chester Step Test /WFA).
• Valid GWO Enhanced First Aid
• Valid GWO Slinger Signaler
• Valid GWO Crane & Hoist Basic User
• Valid WTSR Core

Additional Certification requirements may include:
