Amida Consulting Solutions Ltd is recruiting Contract Wind Turbine Technicians to support maintenance and operations at an offshore converter station. Roles operate on a night shift schedule in a remote offshore environment.

Ideal candidates will have offshore wind/marine exposure, basic mechanical or electrical awareness, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Certifications such as GWO and HUET are preferred and beneficial.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience in wind, oil and gas or marine environments preferred.
• Basic mechanical or electrical awareness required.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to changing priorities.
• Comfortable working in a remote offshore environment and with minimal supervision.
• Technical or trade background and crane operator qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine inspections, equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Carry out minor repairs and general housekeeping.
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance as directed by the offshore team.
• Monitor equipment and report faults or abnormalities promptly.
• Support deliveries and the handling of tools and materials.
• Keep workshops, work areas and accommodation spaces clean and organised.
• Assist electrical, mechanical and HSE teams during night operations.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Participate in emergency response duties.

Amida is recruiting Contract Wind Turbine Technicians to support maintenance and operational activities across an offshore converter station.

These positions suit practical, reliable individuals who enjoy varied work, take safety seriously and can work independently during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Carry out minor repairs and general housekeeping.
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance as directed by the offshore team.
• Monitor equipment and report faults or abnormalities promptly.
• Support deliveries and the handling of tools and materials.
• Keep workshops, work areas and accommodation spaces clean and organised.
• Assist electrical, mechanical and HSE teams during night operations.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Participate in emergency response duties.

Skills and experience

Previous offshore experience within wind, oil and gas or marine environments is preferred. You will need basic mechanical or electrical awareness, strong communication skills and a flexible approach to changing priorities.

You must be comfortable working in a remote offshore environment, able to undertake manual tasks and confident working with minimal supervision.

A relevant technical or trade background and crane operator qualification are desirable but not essential.
