Job summary

Plymouth City Council is seeking an Entitlements and Wraparound Officer to join the Early Years and Childcare Team. You will work with schools, providers, families, and partners to develop inclusive, sustainable wraparound childcare and related services across Plymouth.

Reporting to the Early Years and Childcare Service Manager, you will lead on wraparound development, fund access, partnerships, and the use of data to inform planning and grant administration, ensuring access to suitable

Qualifications

• Experience working within the childcare sector.
• Experience supporting businesses and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and presentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience organizing and facilitating meetings and networks.
• Knowledge of childcare provision and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the development of wraparound childcare across Plymouth and build provider networks.
• Provide business support, guidance and help access funding opportunities.
• Collaborate with schools, childcare providers, families and partner organisations.
• Use data, stakeholder engagement and market intelligence to inform planning and development across the sector.
• Support the administration and monitoring of Department for Education grants.
