Job summary

Rosedale Primary School, part of Exceed Learning Partnership, is seeking a Childcare Supervisor to lead wraparound care. The role is 18.75 hours per week during term time, with morning and afternoon sessions, and permanent status.

Applicants should be able to supervise staff, plan activities, manage health and safety, liaise with parents, and oversee snack preparation. Closing date 27 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising childcare staff and ensuring ratios.
• Ability to design and implement a weekly activity program.
• Strong health and safety, safeguarding and first aid awareness.
• Act as main point of contact for parents and school leadership.
• Manage attendance registers and prepare healthy snacks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support childcare assistants, ensuring ratios are met and everyone is on task.
• Design a weekly program of activities including arts and crafts, sports, and quiet study areas.
• Maintain health and safety standards, including sign-in/out procedures, safeguarding and first aid.
• Act as the main point of contact for parents and school leadership regarding the club’s operations.
• Manage registers and oversee the preparation of healthy, nutritious snacks.
