Job summary

St Rose’s Catholic Infant School in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant for maternity cover, starting in October 2026, for up to one year. You will supervise pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play, supporting a calm and caring lunchtime experience.

Working hours are Monday–Friday 11:30–13:00, term-time only, paid at Hay Pay Scale: HA point 3 (£13.23 per hour). We are looking for someone imaginative, enthusiastic and reliable who can foster positive behaviour and support

Midday Supervisory Assistant (Maternity Cover)

St Rose’s Catholic Infant School are looking for an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support and supervise pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play. This is a temporary, maternity cover position, starting in October 2026, for a period of up to one year.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 11.30 – 13:00 per day (term-time only)

Term-time only post, paid at Hay Pay Scale: HA point 3 (£13.23 per hour)
