Job summary

Love Childcare Recruitment is sourcing a Full-Time Wraparound Childcare Manager for a South East London provider. Based in Beckenham/Bromley with a Catford head office, you’ll run breakfast and after-school clubs during term time and manage holiday camps during holidays.

The role offers £28-30k depending on experience, with pension, sick pay and childcare benefits, plus company events and some home-working flexibility after settling in.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in childcare, teaching, nannying or a similar role supervising and caring for children.
• Confident leading a team and organising busy sessions while staying calm.
• Understanding child development and safeguarding in an Ofsted-registered setting.
• Clear, warm communication with children, parents, staff and school partners.
• A Level 2 (or above) childcare qualification is a strong bonus.
• A full UK driving licence is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of breakfast and after school club, including activity planning, attendance and a safe environment.
• Lead and manage the wraparound team, including rotas, training and performance management.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote creativity, learning and fun.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the client school.
• Manage holiday camps during school holidays, leading staff and ensuring safe operations.
• Deliver the team’s KPIs and support growth of the provision.
