Job summary

Southwark Diocesan Board of Education is seeking a proactive lead for wraparound care provision (Breakfast and After School Club). You will manage staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe, engaging experiences for pupils.

The role includes acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead alongside the Headteacher, planning play-based activities, and maintaining high health and safety standards in the club. Strong communication with parents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or a firm commitment to undertake Level 3 training).
Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
Ideally First Aid and Food Hygiene training.
Ideally Level 3 Safeguarding trained (or a firm commitment to do this)
