Job summary

Trinity St Mary's C of E Primary School is seeking a part-time breakfast club relief assistant for term-time duties in South Woodham Ferrers. The role runs 7.20am–9.00am weekdays, with after-school hours 3.25pm–6.00pm Monday to Thursday, supporting breakfast, activities and pupil welfare.

Training in first aid and food hygiene is required if not already held; safeguarding checks apply. Salary is £13.05 per hour, with fixed temp contract starting 01/11/2026 and close supervision.

We are looking for someone to join our breakfast club team on an ad hoc relief basis. Our breakfast club runs 7.20am - 9.00am Monday to Friday during term time and our after-school club from 3.25pm to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday.

Duties will include:

Welcoming children into the club

Help with preparation, serving and clearing away of breakfast

Setting up activities and overseeing play

Tidying up at the end of the session

The successful applicant will need to undertake first aid and food hygiene training if these qualifications are not already held.

Hourly rate £13.05 per hour
