Job summary

Trinity St Mary's C of E Primary School is seeking a part-time breakfast club relief assistant for term-time duties in South Woodham Ferrers. The role runs 7.20am–9.00am weekdays, with after-school hours 3.25pm–6.00pm Monday to Thursday, supporting breakfast, activities and pupil welfare.

Training in first aid and food hygiene is required if not already held; safeguarding checks apply. Salary is £13.05 per hour, with fixed temp contract starting 01/11/2026 and close supervision.

Qualifications

• Must undertake first aid and food hygiene training if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming children into the club.
• Help with preparation, serving and clearing away of breakfast.
• Setting up activities and overseeing play.
• Tidying up at the end of the session.
• Ensure the care of pupils who are injured or unwell.
• Ensure the health and safety of children.
• Giving comfort to distressed pupils.
• To uphold the School's Behaviour Policy, including treating pupils with respect and consideration.
