Job summary

Springfield Primary School is seeking a positive, proactive Wrap Around Playworker to support our before and after school provision. The role aims to create a safe, fun environment and engage children through varied activities, indoors and outdoors, during term-time only.

The successful candidate will have experience with children, differentiate activities for inclusion, and work as part of a team with enthusiasm and initiative to inspire young learners.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• Ability to differentiate activities to ensure inclusion for all abilities and ages
• Engage and inspire children through extra-curricular activities and learning

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and caring environment within the school wraparound provision
• Engage children through varied activities including arts, crafts, cooking and outdoor games
• Differentiate activities to include all abilities and ages and stay calm when challenges arise
• Work as part of a team and be enthusiastic and motivated
