Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a hands-on Workshop Technician for the Nottingham depot to maintain, refurbish and prepare accommodation units, welfare vans and plant equipment to a high standard.

The role involves completing joinery and repair work, painting and documenting repair activity, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, stock liaison and site deliveries. A full UK driving licence is required; forklift experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in workshop, depot or maintenance environments.
• Joinery, refurbishment, painting or decorating experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Forklift licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refurbish accommodation units, welfare vans and vehicles.
• Prepare and paint accommodation units, plant equipment and vehicles.
• Identify and record customer damage and complete repair documentation.
• Move equipment around depot and liaise with stores for stock.
