Job summary

Hydro International, based in Nottingham, is seeking a hands-on Workshop Engineer to support workshop, stores, and yard activities. Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you will keep workshop operations running smoothly, manage stock, and ensure orders are processed safely and on time.

You will work with engineering, supply chain and operations teams to maintain high standards and drive improvements. A valid UK driving licence and IT/ERP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Workshop/engineering, stores or warehouse experience.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• IT skills with Office and ERP systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workshop activities and workload priorities.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders.
• Use ERP systems to maintain accurate stock and records.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools and facilities.
• Manage consumables and support inventory control.
• Promote a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and business objectives.
